We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level candidate looking to kickstart their career in accounting. As a Junior Accountant, you will work closely with our experienced financial professionals and gain valuable hands-on experience in various accounting functions.

This position is offered on a Permanent, Full-Time basis at our Bibra Lake office.

You'll be doing

• Assist with day-to-day process management, maintaining job completion accuracy, and reporting on job progress.
• Assist in month end reporting preparation.
• Process all banking related transactions, reconciliation and reporting.
• Assist in maintaining the general ledger, including journal entries and ledger account reconciliation.
• Support the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Assisting with balance sheet reconciliation of multiple companies.
• Assist in tax lodgments like GST, VAT, FBT, and ITR.
• Provide support during internal and external audits, including gathering documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
• Collaborate with the finance team to resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Perform general administrative tasks to support the finance department.
  
  

You'll bring

• Degree in Accounting, or similar.
• Graduates will be considered for this role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
