About the role:

As a Catering Assistant at RSL LifeCare, you're empowered to make a meaningful difference daily. Within our supportive environment, your compassion is valued, and your professional development is prioritized. You will have the opportunity to:

  • Work closely with the catering team and the Head Chef to provide high-quality catering services for residents and visitors

    • Comply with Food Safety Standards

      • Maintain a clean, efficient, and professional work environment; dishwashing and cleaning the kitchen, equipment, and dining areas

        • Demonstrate a customer service mindset when interacting with residents, their families, and visitors

          • Serve residents meals and snacks, ensuring the correct meals are served to residents with special dietary needs

            • Build strong and productive relationships with your team to deliver a positive dining experience

  • Demonstrated compassion and empathy, with a passion for making a positive impact on residents and their families

    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to ensure the best resident experience and teamwork

      • Strong teamwork skills to work collaboratively and support each other

        • Ability to work efficiently and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards

          • Qualifications in catering and hospitality or related work experience are beneficial but not essential; training and development are available
