Role

The role involves meal preparation support, customer service to residents, restocking as required, dishwashing and cleaning of kitchen and dining areas, maintaining food hygiene and safety practices, and preparing texture-modified foods.

Responsibilities
  • Assisting with food preparation
  • Customer service – serving residents meals and snacks
  • Restocking as required, and after meal periods
  • Dishwashing and cleaning kitchen and dining areas
  • Maintaining food hygiene and safety practices
  • Prepare and present texture modified foods
Qualifications / Desired Skills
  • Experience assisting in kitchens, food preparation and/or customer service
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
  • Pride in personal appearance and hygiene
  • Previous experience in aged care (preferred but not essential)
