Cater Care is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Catering Assistant to join our friendly team in Bundanoon. This is a stable, full-week role across Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with consistent 6:30am to 2:30pm shifts – perfect for someone who enjoys early finishes and a structured routine.

Roster

  • Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday
  • Hours: 6:30am – 2:30pm
  • Total Hours: 37.5 per week

Job Description

The Role:

Cater Care seeks to appoint a Catering Assistant at one of our key aged care residences in Bundanoon.

What This Role Involves
  • Assisting with food preparation
  • Customer service - serving our residents meals and snacks
  • Re-stocking as required, and after meal periods
  • Dishwashing and cleaning kitchen & dining areas
  • Maintaining food hygiene and safety practices
  • Fast, effective service throughout busy periods - with a good attitude
  • Prepare and present texture modified foods

Desired Skills And Experience

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • Experience assisting in kitchens, food preparation and/or customer service
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
  • Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
  • Previous experience in aged care (preferred but not essential)
