Area Manager - West at ARC - The Australian Reinforcing Company

Overview

The Australian Reinforcing Company (ARC) is seeking an experienced and dynamic Area Manager to lead and manage our West Victorian branch network across metropolitan and regional locations. This role drives operational excellence, sales growth and customer satisfaction for a market leader in reinforcing solutions. You will lead multiple sites, ensure safe and efficient operations, and own the sales channel and demand generation across the West region.

Responsibilities
  • Provide senior leadership of operational and sales teams, promoting a high-performing culture.
  • Drive a proactive safety culture and ensure compliance with safety systems.
  • Lead and execute strategies to achieve operational excellence.
  • Oversee the sales channel to achieve customer growth and margin improvement.
  • Coach and develop team members to enhance capability and engagement.
  • Collaborate with leadership teams to drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement.
  • Champion growth initiatives to drive market expansion and business performance.
  • Maintain full P&L ownership and financial accountability.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in senior leadership (tertiary qualifications preferred, not essential).
  • Industry experience within reinforcing, building products, construction or industrial manufacturing.
  • A track record of implementing a high-performance culture across multiple sites.
  • Experience leading change management initiatives.
  • A genuine and passionate approach to safety leadership.
  • Exceptional people leadership and communication skills.
  • Strong business acumen and financial management capability.
