What is TECSight?
TECSight is a service provided by Hutcheon & Pearce in New South Wales (NSW) aimed at supporting John Deere technology users. It offers remote and on-site technical assistance to help customers maximise the efficiency of their machinery. TECSight's team of trained specialists provides services like over-the-phone troubleshooting, on-site visits when required, and precision agriculture support. Their goal is to assist with and support advanced technology in operations, such as remote machine monitoring, data analysis, and optimisation for improved productivity and profitability.
This service is particularly valuable as it allows customers and internal staff to receive real-time assistance without leaving the machinery, especially when dealing with remote issues. Additionally, TECSight provides customised solutions, helps manage data for better operational decisions, and assists with training of company Technicians
Position Overview
As part of our TECSight team, you'll work on:
Setting up displays, receivers, rate controllers, and other AMS products, guiding customers and branch mechanics through machine diagnostics and helping customers maximise the use of digital tools, like Operations Centre and Property Centre.
Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
- Provide basic precision ag support both internally to your branches and externally to our customers
- Proactively monitors and actions customer machines, uptime alerts and connectivity items
- Participates in John Deere training to maintain current product knowledge
About You
- Experience as a qualified technician or an agricultural / Construction / Forestry -related role
- Ability to understand repairs and maintenance with the ability to follow Technical Manual Procedures
- Proficient oral and written communication skills with solid analytical skills
- Ability to operate with a solutions approach and identify existing/emerging customer needs
