We are the nation's largest not-for-profit employment services provider, and for over 40 years, we've helped individuals find work and achieve sustained financial and social self-reliance. The Parent Pathways Program is a free pre-employment program that helps parents and guardians of young children to build skills and confidence and prepare for the workforce.
Starting a family is a special and rewarding time, but many parents find themselves needing to re-enter the workforce for financial reasons or to pursue a new career for professional independence.
The program aims to address challenges within the family to enable parents to focus on the future, identify interests, and set career goals. Further support with skills development and qualifications is also provided.
Services are tailored to meet parents' and carers' needs, supporting them in overcoming personal barriers and becoming ready to work or pursue further education when appropriate.
This role is offered on a full-time ongoing basis and will be based across our Fitzroy and Flemington sites.

- Excellent communication skills
- Empathy and trauma awareness
- Ability to work effectively with diverse parents, employers, education, and community service providers
- Strong writing skills for resumes, cover letters, assessments, referrals, and case notes
