The Glen Eira team are seeking a Vet Nurse to join on a Part-time basis We are a small, close-knit team of animal lovers - we all work really well together with care and communication being a top priority for us. Our clinic is modern and close by to public transport, a few nice cafes and just a quick drive from the beach

The Glen Eira clinic team are well known and loved in the community and by our loyal and longstanding clientele, we care for a range of animals – dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, guinea pigs, rats and mice As well as a lot of wildlife.

What You'll Be Doing Each Day
  • Undertaking general nursing tasks, including pre and post-operative care, animal pathology and emergency and critical care
  • Performing minor procedures when required
  • Maintaining the overall hygiene of the practice, including surgical areas and equipment
  • Handling client enquiries professionally in person, by email and over the phone
  • Administration duties when required
What You'll Bring
  • Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience with competency in all areas of nursing
  • Ability and eagerness to mentor and guide junior nurses
  • A friendly, team player, go-getter attitude
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Experience with Rx works (preferred but not essential)
