We're currently expanding our team and looking for a Nexus Centre Support Officer to join us in delivering quality service to our customers.

Location : Richlands, Queensland

About the Role :

We are seeking a dedicated professional to plan, schedule, and ensure smooth operations by leveraging their experience in a similar role within the transport and logistics sector. If you're ready to contribute to a dynamic team, we want to hear from you

Key Responsibilities :

  • Undertake activities in the Nexus Centre, guaranteeing efficient service delivery across all aspects of the business.
  • Communicate with drivers who may need to stop for a break due to fatigue events.
  • Coordinate with service providers regarding faulty devices and follow up to ensure faults are rectified.
  • Monitor resources and demand, proactively identifying, managing, and escalating potential challenges or risks before they escalate into issues.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure logistics and transport processes are managed effectively.
  • Maintain adequate coverage of Nexus Centre Officers daily, including fulfilling Wellness Centre Officer duties during leave or absenteeism as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with all service level requirements, consistently meeting and exceeding established standards.

Skills and Experience :

  • Strong customer service skills, ensuring all interactions meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to effectively address challenges and find optimal solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven intermediate computer skills.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to work within a team environment and liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ideally, a background in transport, logistics, and supply chain industry experience.
  • Flexibility to work shift work, including weekends, as part of a rotating roster.
