At Eden Academy Wooloowin We are a child safe organisation, committed to the safety, wellbeing and empowerment of all children.

Operating from 6:30am to 6:30pm and we are seeking a skilled Chef to design, prepare and deliver balanced and nutritional food in our commercial style kitchen to cater for 120 children.

As Our New Chef, You Will

• Plan and prepare daily meals in line with nutrition guidelines and centre requirements
• Cater to diverse dietary needs with confidence and care
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised kitchen environment
• Engage with children and educators to promote healthy eating habits
• Build genuine connections with families and create sense of community
  
  

What You'll Bring:

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery OR
• Certificate III in Hospitality or equivalent
• Food Safety Certificate
• A current Working with Children Check
• Strong understanding of diverse dietary requirements and food sensitivities
• Australian Working Rights
• Impeccable personal presentation
• Experience in menu creation, bulk meal preparation, online ordering, stock management, and budget control
• Proven experience in commercial cooking
• Availability to work Monday to Friday
• Two professional references are required, including one from a manager or supervisor in a childcare or education setting
