The Opportunity
A rewarding opportunity exists for a dedicated Service Coordinator to join our team at our Mountain View Retirement Village in Murwillumbah. In this role, you will be a true all-rounder within the village, providing service to residents and responding to any incidents and queries. You will be a friendly and reliable team member that enjoys a high level of customer/resident interaction. Our retirement villages are always full of excitement and activities, so you will work across the entire community completing different tasks to ensure the operational needs of the village are met. As we roster our communities 24/7, we are looking for someone with flexible work arrangements who can be available to stay in our village overnight and attend to the needs of the community.
This is a casual position working Monday – Friday (4pm – 9pm) and Saturday - Sunday (2:30pm – 9pm) following on-call/sleepover shift until 7:30am the following day.

Your Impact
- Provide support and coverage to our cafe and kitchen staff to ensure a smooth lunch and/or dinner service
- Provide general admin and concierge services to residents and assist with any resident requests
- Be the first responder to any village issues that arise including emergency calls, safety and security issues and providing first aid where needed
- Coordinate fun, social and inclusive activities for the residents
- Complete general domestic cleaning of apartments or common areas
- Be flexible with rostering and shift arrangements as we staff our communities 24 hours a day
Your qualifications
- Experience in any customer-facing roles highly desired (e.g. hospitality, retail, aged care, cleaning or administration)
- A warm and friendly personality that has the ability to work autonomously
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate (required or be willing to obtain prior to employment)
- Current Police Check Certificate (required, but if you do not possess, we can complete for you)
