We are seeking a skilled Child and Family Health Nurse to deliver high quality person-centred nursing care. The ideal candidate will have expertise in coordinating and delivering nursing care that meets the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia Standards for Practice.
The successful applicant will work closely with families to promote holistic approaches to care, focusing on individual rights and needs of children and families.
About the RoleThis position is responsible for providing Universal Health Home Visits for all families of newborn babies, monitoring growth and development of children aged 0-5 years, and promoting healthy lifestyles within the context of the family.
The Child and Family Health Nursing service provides support to families through a variety of interventions, including health education, emotional support, and connection to community resources.
