About the Company

Our client is a leading flooring contractor specialising in large-scale commercial, retail, and residential projects. With a reputation for quality workmanship, strong client relationships, and end-to-end project delivery, they are now seeking a Project Manager with a sales mindset to join their growing team.

About the Role

This is not your average Project Manager role. Yes, you'll be responsible for overseeing flooring projects from concept to completion – but just as importantly, you'll play a key part in identifying new opportunities, strengthening client relationships, and contributing to business growth.

You'll be the vital link between clients, installers, and suppliers – ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standards, while also spotting opportunities to add value and win repeat work.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage flooring projects from tender through to installation and handover
  • Liaise with architects, builders, contractors, and suppliers
  • Prepare project schedules, budgets, and progress reports
  • Ensure quality, safety, and compliance standards are met
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities for future projects
  • Support the sales team with project insights and contribute to tender submissions
About You
  • Previous project management experience in flooring, fit-out, construction, or interiors
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • A natural relationship builder with a commercially minded, sales-focused approach
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and project specifications
  • Results-driven, proactive, and confident managing multiple stakeholders
  • Flooring industry experience highly desirable, but related sectors will be considered
