Overview

Toowoomba State High School is seeking a motivated and dedicated Teacher Aide (Kurdish Interpreter) to support student learning and engagement. The successful applicant will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, a commitment to student success, and the ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in a diverse and inclusive school community. This position is offered in a Temporary Part-Time capacity (0.79FTE), 60 hours per fortnight.

  • Assisting and supporting students with learning activities in a supportive school environment.
  • Contributing to the welfare, health and safety of students.
  • Communicating effectively and displaying high level of interpersonal skills to function as an effective team member.
  • Maintaining anecdotal records on students for use in reviewing students' development.
  • Displaying respect and empathy for students with high level needs.
