Overview

Toowoomba State High School is seeking a motivated and dedicated Teacher Aide (Kurdish Interpreter) to support student learning and engagement. The successful applicant will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, a commitment to student success, and the ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team. This position is offered in a Temporary Part-Time capacity (0.79 FTE), 60 hours per fortnight.

Responsibilities
  • Assisting and supporting student with learning activities in a supportive school environment.
  • Contributing to the welfare, health and safety of students.
  • Communicating effectively and displaying high level of interpersonal skills to function as an effective team member.
  • Maintaining anecdotal records on students for use in reviewing students' development.
  • Displaying respect and empathy for students with high level needs.

Qualifications and Requirements
  • Experience or ability to provide Kurdish interpretation and support to students.
