Westgold Resources is shaping the future of gold mining in Western Australia. We are looking for passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team who shares our vision of building a sustainable and profitable major Australian gold business.

Due to recent growth we are now embarking on a manning increase of the Beta Hunt Operation and looking to employ Experienced Underground Service Crew on an 8 : 6 / 7 : 7 roster on a permanent full-time basis.

THE ROLE

• Extend ventilation services to areas where needed, which includes hanging ventilation bags and moving / installing secondary fans (ability to construct vent walls & doors an advantage)
• Extend, install, repair and maintain water, air, pump, electrical and communication services as required
• Install grout, plate, and tension of cable bolts
• Safely use hand tools to undertake certain tasks
• Operation of the Integrated Tool Carrier to transport equipment and complete Service Crew operations
• Assist with all operations including offside operators as required.
• Complete all administrative processing requirements associated with maintenance duties

WHAT DO I NEED

Current C Class Western Australian driver's licence (essential)Dangerous Goods Security Card (highly regarded)Minimum of 12 months experience working in an underground mining environment as an Underground Service CrewKnowledge and understanding of the Work Health and Safety Act & RegulationsDesire to maintain a proactive safe working environmentSolid problem-solving skills, with the ability to think on your feet and be adaptableExcellent communication skillsA can-do, team-oriented attitude
