What does the job look like?

Are you ready to take the lead in optimising pallet management across one of Australia's largest logistics networks? Linfox is looking for a motivated National Pallet Manager to lead pallet operations for BevChain and drive the standardisation of pallet management systems across our sites throughout Australiabased at Laverton Victoria or Oakdale NSW.

In this strategic role, you will be responsible for developing, supporting, and auditing pallet accounts, while driving operational excellence, cost efficiency, and consistency in pallet management practices. You will also play a key role in training, mentoring, and upskilling site teams, ensuring best practices are followed and improvements are implemented.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee pallet management across the BevChain business unit, ensuring compliance with contracts and company standards.
• Train and mentor site pallet controllers and operational staff on 2IC pallet software and best practice processes.
• Lead audits and reviews of pallet accounts, ensuring accurate reporting and reconciliations are completed on time.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies.
• Build strong relationships with both internal teams and external pallet providers to resolve issues and support ongoing service improvements.
• Collate, analyse, and report pallet data for senior management review, ensuring high standards of accuracy and insight.

Are You the One? You're a self-starter with a strong background in pallet control, ideally within transport or logistics, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You combine operational expertise with a solution-focused mindset and have a natural ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders. You can demonstrate:

• 5 Year Pallet experience, with multiple account management, across Retail, Liquor, Manufacturing and Transport accounts.
• Proven expertise with 2IC pallet software - MyCHEP & Loscam
• Strong skills in reconciliation, data analysis, and reporting across multiple account types.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and leadership abilities.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
• Exceptional attention to detail and time management capabilities.
