The Business Banking Payments team is at the heart of CommBank's mission to deliver secure, efficient, and customer-focused payment solutions for business clients. Supporting a diverse portfolio—from small enterprises to large corporates—the team ensures seamless transaction experiences through platforms like CommBiz and the New Payments Platform (NPP). This team is deeply embedded in CommBank's Business Banking Operations and Digital Transformation streams, driving innovation while ensuring regulatory compliance and exceptional customer outcomes.

Our team is the Payment Pricing & Billing Centre of Excellence, and we are responsible for:

• Leading pricing strategy & governance across the Payments Domain
• Identifying and addressing pricing and billing incidents
• Reviewing and enhancing procedures, disclosures, and customer collateral
• Representing the Payments Domain in Business Bank pricing and billing initiatives
• Strengthening Payments' pricing and billing standards and practices for new and existing products

As the Senior Manager and Business Owner for Payments Pricing & Billing Systems, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of payments pricing and billing systems, ensuring strategic alignment with the Business Bank's digital transformation and customer experience ambitions. In this fast-paced, high exposure role you will:

• Act as business owner of the payments pricing and billing systems, which involves overseeing the scoping and approval of business requirements and changes within the Payments domain to pricing and billing systems (e.g., IPB), ensuring uniformity across payments.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, IT, and other stakeholders to deliver strategic system enhancements that drive innovation, compliance, and desired customer experiences
• Develop trusted relationships and provide insightful pricing and billing system advice across all segments including senior management
• Investigate technical system issues and incidents, determining root causes and developing appropriate solutions.
• Partner with Product, Risk, and Technology teams to implement and maintain a robust risk management framework throughout the end-to-end operational value chain.
• Ensure regulatory compliance through pricing and billing systems. You will work with Product team members to monitor developments and sign off compliance requirements in the systems
• Work with other COE members and wider Payments Domain to identify and implement improvements (productivity, customer experience, revenue, and culture).

The successful candidate will have:

• Demonstrated experience in business requirements gathering and solution scoping, senior stakeholder engagement, program management, and payments products and systems is essential, with demonstrated influence over technology and vendor strategy.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, and navigate complex stakeholder environments, working with Product, Technology, Risk, Compliance, and Frontline teams
• A curious and strong problem-solving mindset who fully considers end-to-end how Payments works, and uses technology to drive innovation in pricing and billing
• Proven systems and process design experience in a fast-paced and changing environment
• Risk mind-set and advanced awareness of Pricing, Product, Finance, Analytics and Operational processes and controls
