What's the role on offer?

Based onsite at the Alliance Airlines facilities, the Trades Assistant supports aircraft and component maintenance personnel to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist maintenance personnel with tasks, ensuring compliance with the Aircraft Maintenance Organisation Exposition Policies and Procedures.
  • Maintain understanding of the Company Safety and Security Policies & Procedures, adhering to all regulations and standards.
  • Promote high standards of quality, safety, and security compliance, as outlined in the Safety Manual.
  • Support safety and security reporting processes within the eSMS framework, encouraging staff participation.
  • Ensure compliance with OH&S and environmental regulations, fostering a safe work environment.

This position requires a proactive approach to maintaining safety, security, and operational excellence while supporting the maintenance team's goals.

Who we are looking for :

Our ideal candidate has a background in Aviation Maintenance and is eager to contribute to a dynamic team. You should be proactive, detail-oriented, and willing to follow instructions. Ideally, you will bring:

  • Knowledge of the Aviation Maintenance Environment (desired)
  • High School Graduation Certificate (desired)
  • Industry work experience (desirable)
  • Initiative and proactive attitude
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
  • Willingness to adapt to changing priorities
