Aspirante is working with a well known Brisbane brand to assist in their search for a Senior Android developer. This is your opportunity to join a purpose-driven tech company that builds innovative platforms supporting thousands of not-for-profits and charitable causes around the world.

We're looking for a Senior Android Developer to help shape and deliver intuitive, reliable mobile experiences to a large and growing user base. You'll play a key role in implementing new features, improving app performance, and maintaining long-term stability. This is a collaborative role where you'll work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver exceptional value to our users.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Deliver and refine innovative features for Android applications serving a broad customer base.
  • Optimise performance and resolve bugs to ensure app stability.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to prioritise features and updates based on user feedback and business goals.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practice adoption across the engineering team.
What You'll Bring:
  • Experience in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Strong Kotlin and Java skills with a deep understanding of Android SDK.
  • Proficiency with both traditional Views and Jetpack Compose UI development.
  • Integration experience with RESTful APIs and backend services.
  • Skilled in Git or other version control tools and collaborative development workflows.
  • Comfortable working in a Mac/Linux development environment.
  • Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A passion for improving user experience through thoughtful, user-centric app design.
