As the Information Officer, you will provide comprehensive administrative support, including word processing, filing, deliveries, photocopying, reception duties, telephone enquiries, and other clerical activities. You will manage, coordinate, prioritise, and action requests for information from the Minister for Health and the Director-General. Additionally, you will maintain a strong knowledge of the Department's activities to assist with appropriate issues management.

Role fit :
  • Proven ability to research, analyse information, problem solve, and prepare and edit responses and briefing notes for the Minister for Health and the Director-General.
  • High level of organisational skills, including effectively managing high volumes of incoming and outgoing correspondence and conflicting work priorities to ensure critical deadlines are met while observing confidentiality and privacy principles.
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to liaise, negotiate, and consult with officers at all levels across the Department of Health to ensure the provision of quality and timely correspondence for the Minister for Health and the Director-General.
