We're recruiting on behalf of a leading public health service in regional Australia seeking an experienced or early-career Staff Specialist in Rheumatology. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a well-established tertiary teaching facility, supported by a highly collaborative internal medicine team. The hospital serves a diverse patient population and offers strong affiliations with a major university medical school, including excellent research infrastructure.

The Role
  • Provide high-quality Rheumatology care to outpatients and inpatients
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to manage complex cases
  • Contribute to teaching (undergraduate & postgraduate) and clinical research
  • Supported by a major tertiary Rheumatology Unit for supervision and peer support
  • Full-time or part-time (0.5 FTE) considered
  • On-call required (flexible arrangements available)
What\'s on Offer
  • Salary: $216K - $310K base (depending on level), with total package up to $484K+
  • 35% private patient billings OR in-lieu allowance

Eligibility
  • Specialist registration with AHPRA or eligible via the Specialist Pathway
  • Advanced Trainees about to finish their training
  • SIMG\'s eligible for Competent Authority Pathway - UK, Ireland, Canada, USA, NZ
  • SIMG\'s with RACP interview date
  • SIMG\'s assessed by RACP and found to be substantially comparable
