About the role

About the role Are you an experienced supervisor or assistant manager looking to take the next step in your career? Zambrero, an exciting and fast-growing Mexican restaurant chain, is seeking a dedicated Supervisor/Assistant Store Manager to join their team in Coolangatta, QLD. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for supporting the Store Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the store and leading a team of passionate staff.

What you'll be doing
  • Assist the Store Manager in leading, motivating and developing a high-performing team
  • Ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction by providing hands-on support to the team
  • Oversee inventory management, cash handling, and other administrative duties
  • Contribute to the implementation of operational and sales strategies to drive store performance
  • Provide feedback and coaching to team members to support their professional development
  • Serve as the key point of contact in the Store Manager's absence

  • Excellent customer service orientation and the ability to provide a positive customer experience
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to effectively handle operational challenges
  • Good understanding of inventory management, cash handling, and other store operations
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing business needs
  • Long time commitment
