About the Group

This group specializes in commercial new build and complex fit-out / refurbishment projects up to $50 million. They have strong relationships in the education, aviation, and government sectors and have been delivering projects in these sectors for over 15 years. They are looking for a Pre-Construction Manager to join their team to manage bids and provide expert advice on construction delivery.

About the Role

Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing and setting the construction program during the bid management phase.
  • Preparing the construction methodology for tenders.
  • Providing expert advice on buildability.
  • Preparing site logistics plans.
  • Preparing safety and environmental plans for tenders.
  • Collaborating with clients and consultants to understand project requirements and RFIs for tenders.
  • Working closely with the estimating and design teams to manage risks associated with tenders.

About You

You should ideally have a background in project delivery and experience working for commercial builders. Experience working on complex projects in live environments will be highly regarded. You will be able to provide expert advice on programming, construction methodology, and buildability. Candidates currently in a Project Manager role will also be considered for this position.
