Senior Program Manager – ICT Delivery Lead
Location: Canberra, ACT
Clearance: Australian Citizenship & Baseline Security Clearance Required
Contract: 12 months + up to 2 × 12-month extensions

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to take on a Delivery Lead role for a major ICT uplift program. This is a senior position, overseeing a national ICT fit-out stream designed to modernise critical ICT assets, reduce operational risk, and improve service delivery across multiple sites.

Key focus areas include:

  • ICT infrastructure and network equipment upgrades
  • Structured cabling and Wi-Fi enhancements
  • Remote site connectivity, resilience, and redundancy improvements
  • End-user computing refresh and relocation
  • Audio-visual upgrades for training rooms, meeting rooms, and offices
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the overall delivery of the ICT fit-out stream, coordinating with individual project managers.
  • Define, track, and report on benefits realisation.
  • Engage with stakeholders to manage dependencies and coordinate with related program streams.
  • Manage scope, including drafting and updating detailed requirements documentation.
  • Gather and prepare program status reports in line with reporting requirements.
  • Apply program and project management best practice to deliver high-quality outcomes.
Essential Skills & Experience:
  • Extensive operational and professional experience in program and project delivery.
  • Proven expertise in benefits definition and management.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to varied audiences.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong customer, business, and stakeholder relationships.
  • Highly developed skills in managing multiple competing priorities.
  • Self-motivation and the ability to deliver results both independently and in a collaborative environment.
