About the Opportunity

We're looking for a Assistant Finance Partner to support a designated Finance Partner and their portfolio in either Sydney or Melbourne. In this role, you will help ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial data across projects, providing critical support to Project Leaders and the broader finance team. You will contribute to key month-end processes, assist with invoicing, update billing forecasts, and help maintain project data integrity in our ERP system. Key Responsibilities

• Support the preparation and processing of monthly invoicing and accruals
• Follow up on accounts receivable and assist with debtors management
• Maintain accurate billing forecasts (monthly and financial year)
• Review subconsultant invoices for accuracy, documentation and approvals
• Set up and maintain projects in Deltek, focusing on contract and billing terms
• Assist with monthly P&L review meetings with Project Leaders and Finance Partners
• Extract and analyse labour and subconsultant reports for Project Leaders
• Provide ad hoc financial reporting and analysis support across studios and sectors
• Support continuous improvement across systems and processes as required

About You

You bring strong attention to detail, excellent time management, and a proactive approach to your work. You enjoy working both independently and as part of a team, and you take pride in delivering accurate and reliable financial support. Ideally, you've had experience in project finance or administration within the Architect, Engineering or Construction industry.

• Prior experience in project accounting, finance, or administration
• Experience using ERP systems (Deltek Vantagepoint is advantageous)
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Highly organised, with the ability to meet strict deadlines
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• A willingness to take ownership and continuously learn
