The Agency Workforce Coordinator will be responsible for the recruitment & onboarding, rostering, compliance, and management of agency staff, including nurses and medical professionals, within Albury Wodonga Health (AWH). This role ensures effective workforce planning, timely onboarding, and coordination of external agency staff to maintain operational capability. We are actively seeking candidates who meet the following requirements to apply for this exceptional opportunity:

  • Relevant qualifications in Human Resources, Business, or Health Administration, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in workforce coordination, medical/nursing staffing, or HR administration in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong knowledge of rostering, industrial agreements, and workforce compliance.
  • High-level communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in HR/rostering systems (e.g., Optima, HealthRoster) and Microsoft Office.
  • Understanding of medical and nursing workforce structures, credentialing, and accreditation requirements.

Employment Type: This is a 3 month, fixed-term opportunity.

AWH serves as the largest regional healthcare provider between Sydney and Melbourne, situated in the border cities of Albury and Wodonga. Our extensive network encompasses two primary hospital campuses and an additional 22 sites, delivering a diverse range of emergency, surgical, women's and children's, community, mental health, allied health, and sub-acute services. Our growth continues with the opening of a state-of-the-art Emergency Department in 2024, and excitingly, the construction of a new hospital at our Albury site by 2028.
