Fumens Lawyers is a dynamic and growing law firm with offices in Glen Waverley, Glen Iris, and Melbourne CBD. We are seeking a talented legal professional with a minimum of two years Post Admission Experience (PAE) who can navigate a diverse and engaging caseload across family law and litigation.
Key Responsibilities- Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in all aspects of family law, including divorce, separation, property settlements, child custody and access, spousal maintenance, and family violence matters.
- Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents such as consent orders, parenting plans, financial agreements, and court applications.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to develop effective case strategies and advise clients on their rights and obligations.
- Represent clients in various forums, including mediation, conciliation, and court proceedings.
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing clear and empathetic advice while managing expectations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client files and case management records.
- Collaborate with barristers, experts, and other professionals as required.
- Stay abreast of current legislation, case law, and best practices in family law.
- A minimum of 2 years Post Admission Experience (PAE) with a demonstrable track record in family law.
- Proven ability to manage a diverse caseload independently and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills to maintain client relationships and good sense of business development.
