Compass Group & Delta FM are seeking Refrigeration Tech's & HVAC's looking to join the DeltaFM team on an even time days only roster. You'll be part of establishing the brand new team conducting Village & Accommodation Maintenance at our latest addition to the portfolio - Rio Hope Downs 1. You'll have a permanent room and a back to back team member. There are two positions available and the ideal applicant will be able to commence the recruitment process now, for a mid August start date.

THE POSITION

  • Establishing this Rio site as part of the DeltaFM portfolio, joining our Crew A team.
  • Reporting directly to the Maintenance Supervisor, ensuring continuity of essential Building and Engineering services in a complex environment
  • Planned & preventative maintenance, attending and assessing breakdowns, cleaning, fault finding of Commercial and residential HVAC and refrigeration units
  • Working in remote Accommodation Villages including Temporary and Permanent Housing, Commercial Kitchens, Dining Rooms, Laundry, Office Buildings etc.
  • Additional Allowances available such as On Call Allowance, 3 Hour Min call out at penalty rates when required, Nominee Allowance, Leading Hand, Dual Trade Allowance if applicable
THE PERSON
  • Full ARCTICK Licence & WA Restricted Electrical Licence
  • Current CPR + LVR &Police Check within 12 months
  • C Class Australian Drivers Licence, White Card
  • Rio Inductions, First Aid, 4WD Unsealed Roads (Compass will arrange paid training if you do not already have)
  • Pass a Pre-Employment Medical including Drug & Alcohol Screening
  • Able to FIFO from Perth Airport & available for long-term ongoing rosters
