About the Role

Be part of our very first flagship venue on the Sunshine Coast. Northern Grounds isn't just a pub – it's a full-blown Queensland experience. Think: open fires, smoky feeds, ice-cold beers by the water, and good times all round.

We're on the hunt for Chefs of all kinds, fresh to the game or seasoned pros, with bonus bragging rights if you know your way around the grill, fryer, prep bench, or pizza oven.

Responsibilities
  • Prepping fresh ingredients and cooking dishes full of Queensland flavour
  • Working across stations from grill to fryer to pizza
  • Delivering high-quality, consistent plates – even in the rush
  • Collaborating with a supportive, fun team
Qualifications
  • You're passionate about food and eager to learn (or keen to share your skills if you're experienced)
  • You thrive in a fast-paced kitchen and love being part of a team
  • You take pride in consistency, quality, and presentation
  • You're reliable, adaptable, and ready to roll up your sleeves
  • You'll be yourself and come as you are – ALH is known for its people
