Manager, Learning

Operating within the Learning & Development Team, the Manager, Learning and Development leads the delivery of Learning & Development at ACU. The role is responsible for managing a team of Learning & Development specialists to support the capability of the ACU workforce. The Manager, Learning and Development acts as a strategic partner to the university and consults with stakeholders to ensure learning programs are relevant and responsive to the university's emerging needs. The Manager designs, sources, enhances and delivers a suite of learning offerings across the university. The role requires a broad understanding of contemporary adult learning principles and the ability to think strategically about building capability across a diverse workforce. The position also involves consultation and relationship management with external training providers and measuring and reporting on the impact, engagement and progress of staff development. • Lead the delivery of learning and development programs at ACU
• Design, source, enhance and deliver a suite of learning offerings across the university
• Manage a team of Learning and Development specialists
• Consult and engage with stakeholders to ensure programs are relevant and responsive to emerging needs
• Establish and manage relationships with external training providers
• Measure and report on the impact, engagement and progress of staff development

• Total remuneration valued to $160,095 - $170,833 total rem (pro rata) per annum, including salary component $135,360 - $144,538 (pro rata) per annum (HEW 9), employer contributions to superannuation and annual leave loading.
• 17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed-term staff
• Annual leave loading equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks' salary pro rata, depending on commencement date
