Parts Interpreter

About the Role: We have an exciting opportunity for a Parts Interpreter to join the team in Townsville This is a Permanent, Monday to Friday role, working 38 hours per week with some weekend work required at penalty rates. Rostered on call work will also be required with full training.
Responsibilities- Provide a high-level service to customers to efficiently manage their parts queries, requests and quotes
- Utilise your analytical ability to review CAT resourcing for confirmation of correct part numbers to complete orders
- Manage an efficient phone service, answering all calls and providing a professional and effective customer experience
- Perform administrative and cash management practices including receipting of cash, cheque and credit card payments
- Follow up on all expiring quotations
- Provide timely responses to customer order status requests, ensuring lead times are effectively communicated
- Identify opportunities to up-sell parts, consumables including fluids, tools, accessories, & novelties
- Provide product support service, machine sales and rental leads are immediately communicated internally

- Knowledge of CAT and associated products, parts and services is desirable
- Forklift Licence desirable
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Intermediate computer skills
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work autonomously
- Proven self-motivation skills with the ability to gain an understanding of the business systems that we operate
- High level of attention to detail
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
- Previous warehouse experience would be desirable
