Overview

The Linfox Driver Academy VIC, based in Mentone, seeks enthusiastic and safety-focused individuals to join our team. This on-the-job training program upgrades your current C class licence to a Heavy Rigid (HR) truck licence. If you already hold an HR licence but lack experience, we provide specialised training opportunities. We offer a healthy work-life balance with flexible schedules and competitive pay that recognises driver expertise and dedication. Shift times are Monday to Friday, starting as early as 5:30 AM.

What you will do
  • Participate in a structured driver training program to attain your Heavy Rigid (HR) licence, tailored to Linfox.
  • Benefit from a buddy program pairing you with an experienced driver for on-road guidance and confidence building.
  • Receive comprehensive safety training to ensure safe operation on the road.
  • Develop a long-term career at Linfox with opportunities for progression to supervision or management roles.
Responsibilities and requirements
  • A current and valid C class licence or a current HR licence.
  • Enjoy being on the road with autonomy.
  • Reliable with a willingness to undertake repetitive manual handling and lifting.
  • Enthusiasm to learn and a commitment to safety.
  • Aiming for career growth within a flexible working environment.
