Seeking a talented and dedicated Mechanic to join the skilled team at Ultimate Automotive in Lake Macquarie NSW. We have full-time and part-time roles available. You will play a crucial part in maintaining and repairing a range of vehicles to the highest industry standards.
Note: The full-time role is a four and a half (4 ½) day, 38 hour week, leaving you a two and a half (2 ½) day weekend each week. The part-time role is three (3) days, Tuesday to Thursday. Great work/life balance working with a fun team.
What you'll be doing- Carry out scheduled maintenance and servicing on a variety of vehicles
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues
- Maintain detailed records of all work completed
- Continually develop your skills and knowledge to stay up-to-date with industry advancements
- Ensure all work is carried out in a timely and efficient manner
- Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a qualified Mechanic
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality work
- Effective communication skills to liaise with customers and team members
- A genuine passion for the automotive industry
- AIS is desired but not essential
- Someone who can work autonomously
