Overview

Seeking a talented and dedicated Mechanic to join the skilled team at Ultimate Automotive in Lake Macquarie NSW. We have full-time and part-time roles available. You will play a crucial part in maintaining and repairing a range of vehicles to the highest industry standards.

Note: The full-time role is a four and a half (4 ½) day, 38 hour week, leaving you a two and a half (2 ½) day weekend each week. The part-time role is three (3) days, Tuesday to Thursday. Great work/life balance working with a fun team.

What you'll be doing
  • Carry out scheduled maintenance and servicing on a variety of vehicles
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues
  • Maintain detailed records of all work completed
  • Continually develop your skills and knowledge to stay up-to-date with industry advancements
  • Ensure all work is carried out in a timely and efficient manner
  • Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations
What we're looking for
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a qualified Mechanic
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality work
  • Effective communication skills to liaise with customers and team members
  • A genuine passion for the automotive industry
  • AIS is desired but not essential
  • Someone who can work autonomously
