At JAX Tyres & Auto, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Motor Mechanic to join our team at Heatherbrae.

As a full-time Motor Mechanic, you will play a vital role in servicing and repairing a wide range of vehicles, ensuring our customers drive away with confidence and peace of mind.

• Conducting vehicle diagnostics, servicing, and mechanical repairs
• Performing maintenance on engines, brakes, suspension, steering, cooling systems, and more
• Road testing vehicles to ensure the quality of repairs
• Accurately completing service documentation and job cards
• Communicating with customers to explain issues and proposed solutions
• Working collaboratively with the workshop team to meet deadlines and maintain high service standards
• Following all safety protocols and company procedures

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a qualified Motor Mechanic
• Automotive trade qualification and certificates
• Hold RMS AIA qualification (Preferred but not essential)
• Experience managing and training apprentice
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A strong focus on safety and compliance with WHS regulations
• Available to work on Saturdays
