The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Maintenance Officer for our Bracken House Facility in Dubbo. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality maintenance services, including preventative maintenance, repairs, and improvements to the facilities, grounds, and equipment. This will involve adhering to scheduled maintenance routines to ensure the environment for residents is safe, neat, comfortable, and hazard-free.

Essential requirements include:

  • LR Drivers Licence (or working towards)
  • A positive 'can-do' attitude
  • Professional, enthusiastic, and friendly manner
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills with the ability to multitask
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team with a strong customer service focus
  • Self-starter with excellent time management skills to prioritise work effectively
  • Experience as a general maintenance officer
  • Passion for providing quality care to residents
  • Ability to address various maintenance requests and resolve issues
