About the role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced OOSH Centre Manager to join our team at Harbord Public School P&C in Freshwater, NSW. This full-time position is responsible for the management and operations of our busy Out of School Hours (OOSH) service, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and engaging programs for our students.
What you'll be doing
- Overseeing the day-to-day running of the OOSH centre, including staffing, programming, budgeting and compliance
- Developing and implementing engaging recreational and educational activities for students
- Building strong relationships with parents, teachers and the school community
- Ensuring the service meets all relevant regulatory standards and guidelines
- Managing, supporting and developing a team of dedicated OOSH educators
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting to the P&C committee
What we're looking for
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar OOSH centre manager or coordinator role
- Demonstrated expertise in developing and delivering high-quality recreational programs for children
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children, families and the school community
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities with a focus on continuous improvement
- Sound knowledge of the education and childcare regulatory environment
- First Aid and CPR qualifications
