In this role, you will provide expert leadership and direction to ensure the successful delivery of a diverse range of projects—including civil works, buildings, and infrastructure. You will bring proven experience in managing large-scale civil or building projects and have a talent for building strong, collaborative relationships with stakeholders.

What we are looking for :

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience delivering complex projects such as civil works, buildings, or civic and open space infrastructure.
  • Strong project management skills and a results-driven mindset.
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external partners.

This role works closely with the Senior Project Delivery Officer (Civil) and a team of passionate professionals committed to delivering real benefits to our community.

Our commitment to financial sustainability, organizational culture, and core values has made Shellharbour City Council an employer of choice.

We offer :

  • A 2-year fixed-term contract with the possibility of a 1-year extension (up to three years in total).
  • Full-time, 35 hours per week with access to flexi-time.
  • Starting salary from $101,440 to $107,649 per annum (based on qualifications and experience).
  • Plus 12% superannuation.
  • Potential Civil Liability Allowance for eligible applicants.
  • A great culture with a values-led, progressive team.
  • Employee benefits including Novated lease options, retail discounts, fitness programs, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Provident Fund activities, weekly pay, and more.
