Are you an experienced SDET / Test Automation Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Selenium with Java? We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Test Automation Lead to join a dynamic client for Infosys in Melbourne

Location: Melbourne, Australia (Hybrid – 2-3 days at client office)

  • Drive test automation efforts using Selenium + Java.
  • Design, build, and enhance scalable automation frameworks from scratch.
  • Collaborate with developers, testers, and BAs in Agile/Scrum teams.
  • Ensure best practices for test coverage, reporting, and CI/CD integration.
  • Own defect triage, regression planning, and automation stability.
  • Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to QA roadmap.
  • 5 – 10 years of hands-on experience in Selenium WebDriver with Java.
  • Strong knowledge of TestNG/JUnit, Maven/Gradle, Git, and automation frameworks.
  • Experience with BDD tools like Cucumber is a big plus.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools – Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar.
  • Excellent understanding of REST API testing and JSON/XML handling.
  • Agile/Scrum experience with strong communication and leadership skills.
