About The Role

This position will be located at the new Ripley Specialised Inpatient Services facility, which is introducing a new on-demand Food Service model, supported by an Electronic Patient Menu Management System (ePMMS). The purpose of this role is to provide operational leadership to Operational Service Officers and participate in the provision of a high standard of service by ensuring all established policies, practice guidelines and standards are maintained. This position is required to work across a roster spanning Monday to Sunday (inclusive), between the hours of 5:30am and 9:00pm, on a 7-day rotating roster.

About The Role

Ripley Specialised Inpatient Services is a state-of-the-art facility that will deliver 90 additional beds in West Moreton as part of Queensland Health's Accelerated Infrastructure Delivery Program. The project will deliver a three-storey facility located on Botany Drive, South Ripley. It is located on the Ripley Health Campus and is co-located with the current Satellite Health Centre.

About You

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:

• Ability to supervise staff effectively by providing clear direction, support and respecting diversity, considering the impacts of actions and motivating the achievement of positive outcomes.
• Ability to apply contemporary leadership principles to develop and maintain an effective and motivated team.
• Well-developed written and verbal communication skills with the ability to express ideas in individual and group situations and highly developed negotiating skills including the ability to build and maintain appropriate relationships.
• Ability to identify and resolve issues using an innovative approach. Well-developed initiative to identify opportunities for improvement and to resolve problems.
• Good quality decision making, ensures accountability, demonstrates courage in the face of adversity and works
  
  

effectively to ensure work output and decisions are ethical and of a high standard.

Mandatory Requirements

• Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
