We now have a permanent full-time position for an experienced Technician based in Sydney (Pyrmont).

What you'll do as a Sr Technician:
  • Provide IT and systems support to all departments within the station.
  • Work with equipment suppliers to ensure minimal downtime and optimal reliability of broadcast and IT equipment.
  • Offer professional service and guidance to end users and clients.
  • Document systems and procedures.
What are we looking for?

Qualifications in IT or Systems Engineering with experience in:

  • Linux OS and scripting
  • Windows Systems Administration
  • Network Administration and Support
  • Hardware troubleshooting

Experience supporting:

  • Post-production systems
  • Broadcast graphics equipment
  • Media Asset management systems
  • SQL or Oracle databases
Key skills include:
  • Work well under pressure and in time-critical situations.
  • Operate professionally and courteously.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Problem assessment and resolution.
  • Keeping up with rapid technological developments in Broadcast and IT industries.

Please note: This position involves a rotating shift roster, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and occasional overnight shifts.
