Overview

Join Ventia in a role which supports the Australian Defence Force by maintaining and repairing electrical systems and equipment on Defence vehicles, trailers, plant and related assets.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain, service, test and repair field power generators and field power generation plant and equipment
  • Maintain, repair and service air conditioning systems
  • Maintain, service, test and repair mobile refrigeration units
  • Work with computer-controlled diagnostic and management systems
  • Refer to circuit diagrams and use meters and test instruments to identify electrical faults
  • Adjust control systems and timing to ensure plant and equipment are running at peak performance
Qualifications
  • Certificate III in Electrical Fitting / Electrotechnology
  • Refrigeration ticket is a must for this position
  • QLD Electrical License/tickets relevant to the role
  • Current Open Australian driver's license is required
  • Australian Citizenship and ability to maintain Defence Security Clearance

  • $48.27 an hour plus super
  • Work 38 hours per week Monday to Friday and finish at 12 pm on Fridays
