Experience the Summer of Tennis like never before. Join our team of amazing volunteers at the Canberra International and go behind-the-scenes to help us deliver truly memorable moments for players and fans.

Volunteers are the backbone of our sport, from grassroots tennis through to our elite level, international tournaments. As well as giving back to the community, a volunteer role at our Summer of Tennis events provides valuable sporting and events industry experience, perks throughout the event, and you'll meet an exceptional group of like-minded volunteers.

We are dedicated to creating an event, tennis community, and team where everyone feels welcome, included, and represented. Our people are team players: they are imaginative, humble, collaborative and strive for excellence.

Requirements

Each of our Functional Areas has different availability requirements for the United Cup Sydney. While you won't be rostered every day, availability requirements for each functional area have been outlined below:
  • Accreditation: 22 Dec 2025 – 11 Jan 2026
  • Activations: 2 Jan – 11 Jan 2026
  • Court Services: 29 Dec 2025 – 11 Jan 2026
  • Hospitality: 2 Jan – 11 Jan 2026
  • Patron Services: 3 Jan – 11 Jan 2026
  • Player Services: 29 Dec 2025 – 11 Jan 2026
  • Tournament Operations: 29 Dec 2025 – 11 Jan 2026

  • Confirm your role preferences. Please note, consideration of preferences will depend on our requirements for the event. We may ask you to help across multiple areas, based on our needs.
  • After we've reviewed your application, we may invite you to our event information session.

Tennis Australia is committed to providing a safe environment for our team, patrons and tennis participants. It is important to note that successful candidates will be required to provide a Working with Children Check and a National Police Check and understand their responsibility in relation to child-safety as a requirement of employment.

Please note if you are already a volunteer at our events, you do not need to apply for this EOI again. We will communicate directly with you ahead of the event.
