Responsibilities
  • Provide clients with a variety of supports including medications administration, personal care, transfers and mealtime assistance.
  • Oversee the work of others to ensure high-quality services are delivered and support day-to-day program administration.
Selection Criteria / Qualifications
  • Experience in overseeing the work of others; experience in leading a team.
  • Experience in support work and delivering high-quality services to individuals with disabilities.
  • Experience in general administration functions, including records management; strong administration skills are a must.
  • High level of computer literacy, Microsoft Office, and related systems.
  • Excellent organizational skills and willingness to learn rosters.
  • Ability to use hoists, slide sheets and other mobility aids.
  • Respond positively to challenging behaviours and restrictive practices.
  • Administer medications and implement health care plans.
  • Provide personal care with dignity and respect.
  • Provide support to teams with program delivery, including hands-on support and administration.
