We're looking for a well-organised and motivated VolunteerServices Officer to support the effective delivery of our volunteerprograms. In this role, you'll work closely with theVolunteer Manager to assist with key administrative tasks such asdata entry, volunteer onboarding, communications, and thecoordination of volunteer events.
Your work will play an important role in strengthening volunteerengagement and supporting the wellbeing of older people in ourcommunity. If you have a strong attention to detail, enjoy workingwith others, and are committed to making a positive impact,we'd love to hear from you.

The opportunity
You will support the daily operations of our volunteer programas a key point of contact for both new and existing volunteers. Inthis role, you will provide high-quality administrative andcoordination support to the Volunteer Manager, helping ensure everystage of the volunteer experience is well-organised andwelcoming.
You will be responsible for tasks such as entering andmaintaining accurate volunteer records, assisting with onboardingprocesses and compliance requirements, preparing communications andevent materials, and helping coordinate key volunteer eventsthroughout the year. Your attention to detail and proactiveapproach will contribute to a smooth, well-supported program thatstrengthens community engagement and enhances the wellbeing ofolder people.
This role is ideal for someone who is organised, communicative,and committed to supporting meaningful volunteer involvement inaged care.

What it takes to do this work
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with theability to engage clearly and professionally across a range ofaudiences.
- Excellent attention to detail, particularly in data entryand record-keeping, ensuring accuracy and timely updates acrossall systems.
- A motivated and well-organised approach, with the abilityto manage competing priorities and adapt to changingdemands.
- Effective time management skills, with confidence inhandling multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including Word andExcel, along with experience navigating HR/payroll or databasesystems.
- Ability to work independently while also contributingpositively within a team environment.
- A proactive mindset, using initiative to identify andresolve issues, particularly in the context of eventcoordination and volunteer support.
- A commitment to working in alignment with our core values:integrity, respect, compassion, and innovation.
- A current NSW driver's licence and a willingness totravel as required.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to buildrapport and maintain positive relationships with volunteersthrough in-person, phone, and email communication.
- Knowledge and understanding of the needs of olderpeople.
- Appreciation and knowledge of volunteers and volunteermanagement.
