The Recruitment Coordinator will coordinate the recruitment process across the organisation with key stakeholders. They will ensure efficiency and compliance of the end-to-end employee lifecycle within recruitment and support attracting and retaining top talent.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate the end-to-end recruitment cycle, including proactive recruitment methods, supporting requests and approvals for recruitment, placement of advertisements, reference checking and generating employment contracts.
- Manage and streamline the recruitment process to ensure the hiring process is efficient and effective.
- Provide essential support to hiring managers by helping identify and attract qualified candidates and guiding them through the process.
- Act as a primary contact for candidates, providing timely feedback throughout the hiring process.
- Facilitate new starter induction sessions for employees.
- Track and report on metrics, identify trends and areas of improvement for recruitment strategies.
- Provide end-user support for HR systems.
- Conduct checks for eLearning completions, police checks, WWC and driver license verifications and update compliance/onboarding records accordingly; ensure compliance with HR-related laws and regulations, guided by the People Experience Partner.
- Assist in HR systems-related projects, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope.
- Support end-to-end coordination of internal programs and processes including development, delivery and evaluation of recognition, learning and development programs, engagement surveys and remuneration review activities.
- In partnership with the payroll team, support payroll accuracy and timely documentation submission.
- Collate and report information, including exit interview processes and references.
- Tertiary qualifications in business and/or human resources or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience as a Recruitment Coordinator or in a similar HR role.
- Understanding of Modern Awards and Industrial Relations legislation.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; experience preparing HR correspondence and presenting to an audience.
- Ability to develop relationships with key stakeholders to achieve objectives.
- Strong attention to detail and high level customer service skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Ability to manage competing priorities with strong time management and organisation skills.
- Ability to work well in teams and also independently with initiative.
- Experience with LinkedIn, Seek and EthicalJobs.
- Experience in system integration and HRIS management; familiarity with HRIS solutions such as Employment Hero, CultureAmp and Go1.
