Your role as a Home Lending Specialist is to deliver an exceptional experience by working with customers to meet their end-to-end banking needs.

In this dynamic and high-impact role, you'll make your mark by:

  • Building a pipeline of lending leads and nurturing these relationships throughout their buying journey.
  • Guiding customers through the lending process, giving them peace of mind that we're here to help them achieve their goals.
  • Leveraging your credit analysis expertise and understanding of customer needs to ensure positive lending outcomes.
  • Building strong, relationship-centric connections with the community, the branch, and Branch Manager to deliver effective lending outcomes for customers.
  • Embracing an attitude of lifelong learning with on-the-job training and other learning opportunities.
  • Building connections to support our customers and make our communities a better place.

This is a permanent, part-time position located at our Malop St Branch. The roster is 60 hours per fortnight, Monday-Thursday 8.45am - 5.15pm.

What you'll bring to the role

To succeed in this role, you'll consistently deliver exceptional customer service. We'd love you to have:

  • Extensive experience in customer service or sales.
  • High level of understanding of lending products, policies, and regulations.
  • An ability to build relationships and rapport with customers and colleagues quickly.
  • Highly developed credit analysis skills.
  • An understanding of small business offerings.
  • Consumer lending experience - this is essential.
