Fixed-term, temporary, part-time opportunity to be accountable at an advanced practice level for the design, implementation, and assessment of nursing education programs.
This role involves managing educational resources, providing nursing expertise related to educational issues across MNMH-RBWH, and contributing to the coordination of educational programs and resources, including the nursing transition support program, to ensure smooth integration of nurses into clinical practice.
About you Our ideal candidate will be able to carry out the following key responsibilities in accordance with Metro North Health's values: Practice in accordance with the code of ethics, professional standards, and legislation affecting nursing practice by maintaining current knowledge and competence within the scope of the position.
Support an evidence-based learning environment and participate in learning activities/opportunities for self and others to integrate nursing and healthcare knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Facilitate the delivery of cost-effective, quality, consumer/person-focused care through the development, implementation, and maintenance of education and professional development programs for nursing staff.
Collaborate with the interprofessional healthcare team to promote safety, security, and personal integrity of individuals and groups.
