About Northern Beaches Hospital:
Northern Beaches Hospital provides world-class, Level 5 delineation services for both public and private patients. The hospital features 486 beds, a 50-bed Emergency Department, a 20-bed general and cardiothoracic ICU, 14 state-of-the-art theatres including cardiac catheter labs, a world-class education centre, doctors lounge, and excellent staff facilities including a café and parking.

The hospital's Food Service department is seeking casual Food Services Assistants to join their busy team ASAP. You will work collaboratively in a dynamic environment that strives to deliver outstanding healthcare to our patients.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:
  • Assist in the preparation of food trays for patient consumption.
  • Deliver, serve, and collect all patient food requirements and meal trays according to established schedules.
  • Assist in daily food preparation and basic meal assembly.
  • Clean and sanitize food service equipment following hospital and industry food safety standards.
Selection Criteria:
  • Current Food Processing Certificate Level 1 (or willing to attain).
  • Prior experience in Healthcare Food Services.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including early/late and weekends.
  • No working holiday visa accepted.
