Northern Beaches Hospital provides world-class, Level 5 delineation services for both public and private patients. The hospital features 486 beds, a 50-bed Emergency Department, a 20-bed general and cardiothoracic ICU, 14 state-of-the-art theatres including cardiac catheter labs, a world-class education centre, doctors lounge, and excellent staff facilities including a café and car parking.
Northern Beaches Hospital Food Service department is looking to employ casual Food Services Assistants to join their busy team ASAP. You will work collaboratively in a dynamic environment that strives to deliver outstanding healthcare to our patients.
As a Food Services Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- Assist in the preparation of food trays for patient consumption.
- Deliver, serve, and collect all patient food requirements and meal trays in accordance with established meal schedules.
- Assist in daily food preparation and basic meal assembly.
- Clean and sanitize food service equipment in accordance with hospital and industry food safety and hygiene standards.
Selection Criteria:
- Current Food Processing Certificate Level 1 (or willing to attain).
- Prior experience in Healthcare Food Services.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including early/late shifts and weekends.
- No working holiday visa accepted.
